The Regia Ducus Conference Attending Nations: CCTO Member Nations and Preapproved Observing NationsThe Agenda:
- Discuss the terms of the proposed Central Corvus Trade Network Agreement.
- Discuss the proposed replacement of CFCs with HFCs in order to reduce harm to the ozone layer.
- Discuss the adoption of a single currency denomination across the Central Corvus Treaty Organization.
- Discuss border security with member nations and non-member nations.
- Discuss the conflict in eastern Gladitoria.
- Discuss the conflict in southern Istanvania
It was a normal morning in the Southwest portion of Gladitoria at the Palace Regia Ducus. That being said it was too hot, too humid, but the sky was clear, the breeze a soft caress on the skin, and the air had the tang of being near the sea. The palace and it's grounds were clean and orderly, perfect to receive guests at any point. The meeting would take place in the De Tractus Stellae, a room of symbolic and historically tiresome meaning, chosen for being private and comfortable.
The CCTO chose this landmark of Royal Gladitorian authority and wealth as a meeting point. The world was increasingly violent and several issues had to be addressed.
The High King Domitius presided at the head of the room standing behind a simple wood chair with plush furnishing a ceremonial saber propping him up. A small squat man sat beside him on a simple stool a notepad in hand. "Alea iacta est", he whispered to himself as he waited for his guests to be shown in.

After extensive deliberations, the Regia Ducus Conference in Gladitoria has come to a close, formalizing the economic relationship of the CCTO and its responses to various domestic issues in the member nations.
The proposed Central Corvus Trade Network Agreement has come into effect, which will create an economic free trade zone consisting of all member states. States within the Central Corvus Trade Network will gradually abolish border checks between member states and creating a shared CCTO Visa while simultaneously tightening and strengthening all external borders. The Central Corvusian Police Office, or Centropol, will facilitate the interaction of law enforcement in the pursuit of criminals within the Central Corvus Trade Network.
Concerns over the stability of a common currency were raised by the Frankish delegation, and members agreed to debate the common currency seperatley, for the meantime establishing the Corvusian Currency Unit (CCU) as a unit of account, measured against the Khartumian Dinar.
In response to growing concerns over rising temperatures, the Regia Ducus Conference has voted to completely phase out the usage of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) in favor of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) by the end of the coming year. Production will be heavily subsidized to encourage businesses to switch to the safer chemicals, and to keep the initial costs low. By midyear, all nations will prohibit aircraft of any nationality that uses CFCs from utilizing its airspace.
Special delegations have been sent to southern Istanvania and eastern Gladitoria to evaluate the situations there. Until the situation can be assessed, the current CCTO formal strategy is to provide both states with financial and material aid in combating their respective crises, as part of the doctrine of mutual well being articulated in the treaty. The amount or method in which aid will be provided is not stipulated in the document, and is also left to further debate.
