Mistus, United Cubonia
Cubonian Imperial Palace, East Wing: Conference Center
May 25th, 1984
Following weeks of discussion, the leaders of the two Empires have agreed to meet and sit down with one another, hoping to broker a trade deal and address International Concerns about the Biendiosan Barcoding policy and other humanitarian issues.
The guests would arrive at a private Airport, and then be transferred by vehicle through the streets of Mistus where they could view the ancient and magnificent city. The city itself dates back to the Roma Empire, however didn't become the size it was until Emperor Philipe I, the first Cubonian Empire. Later under Emperor Francis II the inner city and the majority of the city itself was reconstructed due to the narrow roads and modernization issues the City was facing. Over 600,000 people were displaced and move to the outer area's of the city, which in turn when the construction of the city finished in 1912 made the inner area of Mistus the place to be for people of highborn or wealthy status. The innermost area around the palace hosting many of Cubonia's wealthiest citizens and many famous celebrities, as well as being connected to the Financial District. The city itself is a combination of the modernization of societies, mixed alongside the old architecture, with the outside being a very plain, but well crafted. The streets for the person if importance would wind, going over many famous Cubonian buildings and historical centers and eventually end up connecting to the Imperial Palace.
The Imperial Palace itself was a very magnificent structure, with architecture and history dating back to the Frankish Conquerors initial palace. Divided into a West and East wing, with the East for Civil affairs and the West for military, with the center of the Palace facing the entrance. Ceremonial guardsmen would decorate the side and a beautiful garden would be in place in the center of the courtyard. The guests would be escorted to the East Wing, and placed in a conference room as the discussion began.
The Emperor himself was present for this affair, and alongside him were the Ministers of Finance, Foreign Affairs, and Commerce seated around a circular table with the Emperor himself at the head.
