Rest in Québec La Première Division following moderate losses in the Battle for New Gaul are ordered to rest in Québec before a suspected advancement for Newfoundland. This should allow for some time to reorganize and to recuperate from the losses, and return to a full operating strength of 12,000 men.
Provincial Guard A provincial guard is instituted for Québec, Ontario, New Brunswick and New Gaul. The provincial guard will be purely defensive as the name implies, and was created in response to the lack of defence in core provinces. For men who wish to serve their country with little chance of losing their life, their regional provincial guard is a more favourable choice than joining the army. Size of the provincial guards will be low.

Surrender Hispanian and Aquitanian troops in France and the Caribbean returned to their garrisons after word was sent of a surrender. It seems that the military actions taken by Svea Rike and her colony turned any plan of taking back Franquebec sour, with each plan only giving slim indications of a phyric victory in the initial naval invasion stages.
The only concession the King of Aquitania offered was recognizing Franquebec as a independent state and allowing her colonial garrisons to return home to France.

Peace Conference in The Hague Franquébec sends a delegation consisting of renowned lawyer Georges-Étienne Cartier and General Joseph Vanier to discuss the peace terms in the neutral state of Vesnuovania in the Low Countries. They lay out the following terms...
Rebels may flee to Aquitania on their own terms, however, their assets and their family's assets will be seized by the Franquébécois government. Rebels who choose to stay will wait 8 years until they may vote, however, they will not be touched.
Franquébec will accept an Aquitanian recognition of independence.

Svea Rike sends their most trusted diplomat, Robert Södergren, to meet with the others in the peace conference. He offers the following terms on top of recognition of Franquebec.
- Both Aquitania and Hispania must pull out all troops in any North American colony that they have, including the Caribbean
- They must abandon all further colonial ambitions in the Americas
They also begin to send diplomats to Franquebec, offering a military alliance and the opening of trade ports to and from both nations.

Colonial Ambitions
The alliance of Hispania and Aquitania reluctantly agreed to the condition binding them to halt all further colonial ambitions in the Americas. The Hispanians refused to abandon their colonies, however. The Aquitanian troops in the Caribbean pulled out soon after a cease fire was agreed for negotations to happen, and the Hispanians transported some of their troops back to mainland - however, they would not abandon their garrisons and stressed that because of high tensions that more manpower was needed to defend their Caribbean colony. The Governor of the Caribbean colony backed the King of Hispania.
Franquebec Independence
The Aquitanian diplomats helped to draft a Treaty that would recognize Franquebec as it's own, sovereign state.
