Following the plea for help from Fennoscandinavia-Finlanavia, Franquebec, in coordination with Cubonia, declares war against the Empire of Walff. Parliament's current discussions were halted when the bill for a declaration of war was passed, and signed by the governor-general following approval from the Emperor. The Prime Minister addresses the people in a quick conference held in Laurent Hall, citing previous statements concerning war crimes.

A premeditated counter-strike with Cubonia against Walff focuses the conflict to their mainland. Patrol vessels, Defence vessels, and Destroyers have all been deployed alongside Walff's eastern coastline, while the army has been sent on marine transports for a naval assault. Bombers have been sent to trash ports plus air and army bases stationed along their coast, planning to clear the way for the marine assault. Fighter-bombers have also been deployed to deter airstrikes on the naval convoy. Long-Range patrol submarines have been stationed on the exit out the strait, firstly preventing any Walff cargo ships from entering or exiting, and second, warning of any vessels that plan to come through to counter-act the invasion.

The portion of fighter-bombers currently patrolling the DMZ have been moved to the southern coastline of Finlanavia due to the large opposition in the north, but stand ready for deployment in Finlanavian airbases.

On the Walff-Invasion Front.

As reports come in of the inevitable intervention of foreign powers the infantry and light armor begin digging in around the refugee centers and hospitals, bombing them or using and heavy handed force would lead to the death of many civilians. The Heavy Armored regiments begin to form the first line of defense outside the few border towns that have been captured, beyond them placed inside buildings and in cover are the SAM anti-air emplacements whose range could easily cover the tank's positions. Infantry and light armor begin to patrol the streets and barrack just outside the civilian centers. The mobile artillery that was previously stationed just outside the border moves inwards to be able to cover any incoming attacks, the reservist supply trucks begin to move back towards the 'Walff Training Center' where ships and heli-carriers are docked at a newly constructed shipyard, the reservists leave enough transport in case of emergency evacuation. Any new supplies are now being airlifted or dropped from cargo planes.

Along the outer towns defenses several EOD-techs cold be seen scurrying around setting up booby-traps and small minefields, any unneeded supply or transport roads would be blocked off either explosively or by destroying buildings to block their paths. Small red flags would dot the landscape in front of the tank defenses each one with a small electronic transmitter, obviously used to quickly target artillery by grid location without the need for eyes on target.

The Walff invasion force makes a full switch from offensive to defensive.


On the Walff-Defense Front.

With the Walff Border Defense Force already on high alert from approaching Hurricane Noam the Francquebec assault is noticed almost immediately. The evacuation trains already in place for the Hurricane make sure that civilians are evacuated quickly and efficiently while sending more troops and supplies to the front on their return trips. Patrol Boats quickly sortie into the canals of outer Walff and begin engaging any soldiers or vehicles making landfall while Jets fly quickly overhead, scrambling to engage the bombers who approach inner Walff. Nation-Wide all reservists and active-duty members of the military are put on high alert, several Destroyers and CIWS Capable craft dispatch from the northern port of Arturia off the Arturian peninsula. The recon outpost on Redwood Island in northern Walff dispatches all combat capable helicopters to attempt to destroy any landing ships before they land ashore.
