December 28th, 1980Cherno forces begin the massive transition of metals and military surplus and supplies along their Eastern and Northern borders, the world watches with idle interest, clearly unassuming at the Communist Regimes motives. Along the Istanvania and Slav Republic borders, fortifications begin construction as the Regime manages to hide their forces movements and motives well, most of the world still concerned and involved over the Walff-Finalanavian conflict. February 5th, 1981Progress continues, as the Finlanavian War dies down, and after months of careful planning and building out of nowhere Cherno forces launch ballistic missles into Iranistanian land, the surprise attack throwing their border forces into disarray as the Cherno forces dig in taking land across the border and locking it down. Around the world red alarms flare, Franquebec and their ally Gladitoria are quick to mobilize, however support will take some time, and for now it's up to Iranastania to respond to the assault. Near the initial engagement line, they have two infantry divisions stationed, an armored Battalion, and some field artillery units. Istanvania Front Slav Fighters Front // The red lines are zones occupied by Cherno. The Black line is the current estimated Line of Conflict. It will take four turns for allies to enter the fight, for Istanvania it will take three turns. Iranistania has one air unit en route as is, and their airports are marked by the lighter colored planes inland and the same goes for Cherno. Basically move your armies, to move an army takes an entire turn. Also mobilization for the units not currently engaged in Istanvania will take a turn, however the two Units engaging the three Cherno units can move however as they are already mobilized. The Two odd looking things to the NorthWest are the Istanvania fleets, Cherno is land locked however, and the current map only shows a central view of both nations and zones near the fighting. Cherno currently has Three units on the front lines en ageing Istan's two, and they have an air unit supporting them.

February 6th, 1981
On the Southern Border of the Slav Fighters, with military Drills already in progress the ground forces begin mobilizing and border crossing close down. The Slav Figthersan Airforce trained to a perfect T already begin low flying observations over the borders into Chernovrosk. The Slav Figthersan Navy in the East are in a panic, they are the ones less trained and poorly equipped compared to those of larger nations who have connections to the outer world by the sea, most of the Slav Figthersan navy around Chernovrosk are small military RIB boats and at all times only one destroyer. In the political system of the Slav Figthersans nothing seems to have changed, there is talk of war but no official word from the government of any declaration coming soon, but all the happenings of their military would concur to that.

The three Chernovrosk infantry battalions begin engaging the Istanvanian forces with the intent to overpower through superior numbers, beginning total war as they assaulted towns, meanwhile their mobile air units are sent to engage Iranistania's armored battalion. Back along the border, Chernovrosk's heavily fortified border uses some of its anti-air installments begin attempting to shoot down the Slav spy planes as they pass over. Back in the homeland, more soldiers train through Chernovrosk's compulsory military forces, getting ready for days head. There is no word from Chernovrosk's government about the war. Executions of Istanvanian citizens are continued to be aired live in an attempt by Chernovrosk to install nationalistic pride in its citizens. Being a landlocked country, nothing could be done about the movements of the Slav RIB boats, nor would they cause a response from Chernovrosk.

I hope from Chernovroks actions the world will see what a meance to society they are and that they must be stopped. I thank you all for your attention. Two hours later All trade from the Slav Figthersans to Chernvrosk is halted. Instead of foot soldiers and tanks rolling into the enemey positions, artillery and short range missile postions would open up on the Chernvrosk positions. The esteemed air force of the Slav Figthersans would now be conducting high altitude strategic bombings on Chernvrosk factories, military training grounds and most notably the costal towns to the East while they hold almost no importance, seemingly punishing the civilian population closests to the Slav Figthersans for cooperating with their own government. |

Currently there are only two turns in play. Yours and mine. |

Royal Franquebecois Armed Forces
February 8th 1981, Dawn
The RFAF moves into Eastern Corvus following mobilization earlier in the week in a call to arms against Chernovrosk and their unjustified and cruel attacks against Istanvania. One carrier stations itself nearby the coast of Istanvania on the southern side of the peninsula, heavily protected by surrounding destroyers, coastal defence vessels, and jet fighters dedicated to intercepting incoming aerial attacks against the naval convoy. Long-range patrol submarines stretch away from the convoy, observing the coast and charting safe landfall points.
Following the naval convoy's arrival is the Royal Franquebecois Army, equipped with marine gear and Western training from Cubonia, they prepare their push towards Chernovrosk, but have the disadvantage of dealing with ground rather than shallow seas of the strait, but amphibious mechanized vehicles soon follow suit. Armored battalions alongside TOW artillery travelling along the infantry regiments, preparing an incursion towards Chernovrosk. Reconnaissance planes accompanied by Franquebec's CF-18 fighter-bombers survey the land towards an assembly point, a fair distance away from zones of conflict in Chernovrosk. The planes make round patrols to facilitate security and evading an ambush, and, were an ambush were to be formed, additional support would be called.
Once arriving at the assembly point, the RFAF plans to incur a strategic invasion.

An AC-130; stationed on Ezic isles were already on their way over to Chernovrosk, flying through their WEST ally Istanvania - landing on an airbase in the country, ready.

Istanvania
Istanvanian special forces were immediately deployed, elite units at their finest. Istanvanias army, elites themselves but hardly as much as the special forces, equipped with modern technology and superior knowledge of the land, proceeded to play to their advantages. Several strategic dig ins were had at points along the wasteland, and as the Red Army entered the first village, no one was to be seen. Not a civilian nor hostile troop, which was suspicious at best. However, unbeknowings to them, IED's lined the road. As they moved along the vast barren wasteland towards the cities, they'd encounter multiple more mines and the like, having harsh effects on their armoured battalions, and the call for several bombers to carpet bomb advancing enemy lines was not met without instantaneous heed. In troop skirmishes, Istanvania army simply abused their territory, gear, and tactics, knowing it would be more than enough, as more of the army mobilised from the north.
